School Council

An active forum which takes the interests of all the school community, in order to serve best the needs of each individual pupil, as we welcome challenges and opportunities.

The School Council aims to provide an independent opportunity for the school community to get their voices heard, share ideas, and gain awareness of issues and activities important and of interest to young people.

So far the School Council has delivered an anti-bullying lesson to all Year 9 pupils, and organised an odd sock day to raise the profile of Anti-bullying week.
They have also taken part in consultations about the seafront developments in Porthcawl, and at the end of January they are visiting the council offices in Bridgend.
