The Governing Body are seeking to appoint for September 2019, a well-qualified and motivated teacher of English, to work within an already successful faculty that has a firm commitment to continuously improving their teaching and learning.

The successful candidate may be required to teach to ‘A’ level. Therefore, ‘A’ level or degree level qualifications in English Language, English Literature or Media Studies are essential. The candidate may be required to do other general supply work as the need arises.

Science Technician Grade 6

The role will involve providing support for the teaching staff and pupils, including preparation and routine maintenance of resource/equipment and ensuring that the laboratories are a safe working environment for all.

A qualification in a science subject would be an advantage. The successful candidate will need to display a willingness to undertake training and a commitment to Continued Professional Development.

Temporary Literacy Support Assistant

The Governing Body are seeking to appoint for September 2019 a well-qualified, enthusiastic and motivated Literacy Support Assistant to complement the professional work of teachers by supporting pupils with additional literacy needs.

The work will be either via extraction from class with individual pupils or small groups or by providing targeted support in class.

Applicants will ideally have a high level of literacy and numeracy, an NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications. The successful candidate will need to display a willingness to undertake specialist training and a commitment to Continued Professional Development
