Proposed change of day

Statement of Intent

It is proposed to change the times of the school day from September 2019 onwards. This change is applicable for all learners at the school.

It is proposed that school will:-
Open at 08.45am and lessons will finish at 3pm.

The internal timings of the day will be adjusted to accommodate the change. The time spent teaching will remain totally unaffected with the changes.

This proposed change is now open for consultation with all stakeholders at our school. The learners, staff and parents / carers will have the opportunity to comment. The consultation period is from Monday 4th March and will close on Monday 25th March 2019.

As part of this consultation we propose a meeting to be held on Thursday 21st March at 5pm in the Sixth Form Hall. Anyone who is unable to attend this meeting may make written representation addressed to The Chair of The Governing Body. The meeting is open to parents and staff at the school. Would you please telephone school to confirm your attendance so appropriate arrangements can be made?
